Aloud Cards is heading toward its first Microsoft Store release on Windows 11. The core practice loop is working: the app reads a prompt, listens for a spoken answer, and responds without making a child reach for the screen.
What is already taking shape
- Speech recognition and text-to-speech run on the device.
- Practice works after the voice models have downloaded.
- Families can choose card sets, create custom word sets, and keep separate player profiles.
- Grown-ups can send a private problem report or idea from Settings without sharing recordings, transcripts, names, scores, or device identifiers.
What comes next
The current focus is packaging, Store submission, and the final release checks that turn a working Windows app into something families can install with confidence. The download link will appear on this site when the Store listing is ready.
